Kun maailmaa vielä luotiin, yksi puu alkoi kasvaa kaiken ylle. Sen oksat pysäyttivät pilvet ja peittivät auringon ja kuun. Jopa tähtien valo sammui ja maailma pimeni.
Iänikuinen tietäjä Väinämöinen kutsui apuun veden väkeä – ja katso, tarinan sankari alkoi kun alkoikin nousta vedestä. Väinämöinen ei kuitenkaan ollut vakuuttunut. Tämä sankari oli aivan liian pieni, peukalon kokoinen, ja varmasti myös liian heikko. Pieni mies alkoi kuitenkin kasvaa, ja kasvoi valtavaksi jättiläiseksi, joka kaatoi puun yhdellä kirveen heilautuksella. Niin valo palasi maailmaan.
Ken löytää tämän puun oksan, löytää ikuisen onnen. Ken taittaa sen latvan, taittaa ikuisen taian. Ja ken leikkaa siitä lehvän, leikkaa ikuisen lemmen.

During the creation of the world, one tree started to grow above everything else. Its branches stopped the clouds, and covered the sun and the moon. Even the starlight died in the sky, and the world became dark.
Our Grand Shaman Väinämöinen called the magic of the oceans for help – and look, a hero of the story started to rise from the water. Väinämöinen wasn’t impressed though. This hero was too tiny, the size of a thumb, and surely too weak. But the tiny hero grew into a mighty giant, who struck down the tree with one swing of an ax. And so the light returned into the world.
Whoever finds a branch of that tree, is granted eternal happiness. Whoever secures the tree-top, gains the master magic. And whoever gets a hold of its leaves finds love that never ends.
